with nLite you can do something like this. + replacing the system files on the cd. but my only experience with nLite was slipstreaming the sp3 update to the sp1 xp install cd.

Have you thought about modify the installation CD of Windows XP? executables, logs, etc., occurred to me the other day, I don't know if can do :/

hi.

unfortunately i don't know how to remove the icon yet. :( (mine is altered everywhere) but you could "remove" the title text by recoloring it to the same color as the title background so it will be invisible.

The font is standard 07_55 Capitalize

About making custom iso. With Nlite it is possible to change things.

About replacing the files on the install cd:
Expand all required dll and exe files from the windows cd (the compressed files with extension dl_ , ex_) with the expand command. now you can reshack all of it, then after reshacking the files you can recompress it again with the makecab command and replace it, make iso, burn, etc...

hey des, is it possible to hack windows iso disk to make changes directly there and burn that iso on cd? i want to make complete changed sistem for installing on bootcamp, pc and so on)
