well. what value did you write there? if more than 42rp that might be the problem.
because in this line:
<element id=atom(userpanelayer) layout=borderlayout() height=42rp>
that height=42 is the maximum userpanel height. so the user picture can't be more than 42rp otherwise it will be shrinked to fit the available space. but you could alos change that value (42) to higher.
